Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between SafeFinLearn and participants of our financial safety education programs, literacy development, financial security training workshops, and personal finance education sessions. They apply to all offered education services and supplementary provisions. By enrolling in our programs or registering for an education session, you agree to these conditions.

2. Education Enrollment and Contract Formation

Enrolling in our financial education programs can be done in person at our facility, by telephone, email, or through our website. The contract is established upon confirmation by SafeFinLearn. For workshops and specialized financial literacy courses, prior registration is required as we limit participant numbers to ensure optimal education quality. The right to education participation exists only after receipt of a confirmation and payment processing, where applicable.

3. Education Program Description

Our services include financial safety education programs for individuals, literacy development workshops, individual education sessions, financial security training seminars, and complementary offerings such as personalized financial plans and group education sessions. The type, scope, and duration of each program are defined in the current education description or the respective enrollment contract. SafeFinLearn reserves the right to modify education offerings, schedules, and education personnel when necessary for organizational or content-related reasons. If an educator is unavailable, we will provide a qualified substitute or offer an alternative session where possible.

4. Payment Terms

Education fees are payable in advance unless alternative payment terms have been agreed upon. For comprehensive education programs, installment payments may be arranged. Payment is processed via bank transfer or, in special cases, directly at our education facility. Prices for specialized education services or custom program development are indicated separately and due by the specified date. In case of payment default, we reserve the right to exclude the participant from further education participation or to charge interest according to legal provisions.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation by Participant:
    • Individual Education Sessions: Cancellation up to 48 hours before the session is free of charge
    • Multi-Session Education Programs: Up to 7 days before commencement, 80% refund; after that, 50% refund
    • Comprehensive Education Programs: Individual cancellation terms as specified in the education contract
  • Cancellation by SafeFinLearn:
    • If an education session must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or other significant reasons, payments already made will be fully refunded or an alternative date will be offered.

6. Refund Policy

At SafeFinLearn, we are committed to client satisfaction and education excellence. If you are not satisfied with our financial education services, please notify us within 14 days of education completion or session delivery. We will work with you to resolve any concerns and ensure your financial objectives are met. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the following principles:

  • For session-based education: Refunds will be considered for the portion of sessions where demonstrable issues with education quality occurred.
  • For program-based education: Partial refunds may be issued proportionate to the incomplete or unsatisfactory portion of the education program.
  • For ongoing education arrangements: Unused prepaid amounts are always refunded upon termination of services.
  • No refunds will be issued for completed education programs that met the agreed-upon scope and financial objectives, even if the personal outcomes differed from client expectations.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to education@safefinlearn.com with detailed explanation of the concerns and specific education elements that did not meet expectations. Each request will be reviewed within 7 business days, and we commit to fair resolution that supports both client satisfaction and program integrity.

7. Session Times and Participation

Current session times are available on our website and in education descriptions. We request punctual attendance. Late arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may result in denied access to ongoing sessions out of consideration for other participants and to maintain education quality. Missed sessions or education programs cannot be made up or refunded unless expressly agreed upon or individually arranged in special circumstances.

8. Confidentiality and Liability

Participation in our financial education programs is at your own responsibility. All personal information and financial details shared during our sessions are subject to confidentiality. SafeFinLearn commits to maintaining the strictest confidentiality standards and expects the same from all participants. We request that existing financial challenges or special circumstances be confidentially disclosed before education commencement. In case of doubt, we recommend prior consultation with another financial educator. SafeFinLearn is not liable for self-inflicted inconveniences or indirect consequences of participation.

9. Use of Facilities and Materials

The premises and equipment of SafeFinLearn must be treated with care. Education materials and financial resources are provided for the sessions and included in the education fee unless otherwise indicated. SafeFinLearn assumes no liability for personal belongings and valuables. The education rooms and common areas should be left in an orderly condition.

10. Copyright and Confidentiality

The content, methods, education materials, and financial resources provided in our programs are subject to copyright. Distribution, commercial use, or publication without express permission from SafeFinLearn is not permitted. All participants commit to confidentiality regarding personal information of other participants. Photo, video, or audio recordings during sessions are allowed only with prior consent of all present individuals and the session leader.

11. Data Protection

Participants' personal data is treated with the utmost care and used exclusively for contract processing and education service delivery. Disclosure to third parties occurs only as necessary for contract fulfillment. Further details are regulated in our separate Privacy Policy.

12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Singapore law applies. The jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of SafeFinLearn.
